I got my hair trimmed at Shing's Hair Studio in Milpitas

Last Saturday I got my hair trimmed at Shing's Hair Studio in Milpitas :)
The stylist is Johnny, who is apparently very popular on yelp.  Supposedly he is so popular that many people travel a long way (ie Sacramento) to see him.  When I went, the salon was pretty crowded, with about 3-4 people waiting.  I waited for about 15 min even though I had an appointment.  I didn't specify any stylist when I called, and just happened to be assigned to Johnny.  I said to Johnny that he seems to be very busy that day, he said that this wasn't considered "busy", because if he is truly "busy", I'd have to wait in line for 2.5 hours...... I guess he is THAT popular...

Johnny is very fast with his hands.  At first I thought he was going to speed through my session but he actually spent quite some time making sure all the layers are even.

There are bipolar reviews about him on yelp, and he seems to be the most talked about stylist at Shings.  I can see how some might think that he is rude, but I think he's just busy and doesn't care to be the politest person.  Overall, I liked my hair cut.  I said I only wanted a trim, and I didn't need to stress that I don't want to cut off too much, he knew somehow :)  He also curled my hair at the end and commented that I look a bit Japanese with the hair, LOL.  They charged me $30 for the cut which I thought was reasonable.

Here's the final look, I really liked the big curls:

Fantasies: little bras from thelittlebracompany.com

LOL yes I said it, I want and need some little bras from thelittlebracompany.com.  I was just watching Jen frmheadtotoe's bra fitting 101 video and I can SOOO relate to her because I am also petite and not blessed in the chest department =p  I am not as petite as Jen frmheadtotoe though, she is size 28 and about 4'10 and I am 5'1 and I think I'm size 30.  .. and you know what?  I used to alter my own bras! LOL.  Yes I'd cut off the buckles, cut a bit of the straps off, and then hand sew the buckles back =p  I am very excited about this, yay to little bras!! :)

FOTD - I tried xteeener's Simple and Easy Back to School Look

How was everyone's Sunday?  Today I tried xteeener's Simple and Easy Back to School Look, and had a nice relaxing day - had yummy lunch at Cafe Borrone in Menlo Park (thanks pinkstarberries for the recommendation!)

Now, onto the makeup:
Stila Eye Shadow Pan - Chinois
First I applied a nude matte shadow all over, here I used Stila eyeshadow in chinois.

Next I lined my lashline with a black eyeliner, this part doesn't have to be perfect because it will be smudged out later.  Here I used Benefit BADgal Liner.

Next I smudged black shadow over the liner, here I used Milani eyeshadow in 02 black out.

Next I smudged a green shadow over the black, here I used the green from Maybelline Eye Studio in 20 Saphire Siren.

I then tightlined with Benefit BADgal Liner and highlighted inner corners with the same Stila eyeshadow in chinois.

Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15 .15 oz (4.3 g)
For lips I used Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment spf 15.  I LOVE this, I carry it around with me in my purse :)  For cheeks I used my holy grail Laura Geller Blush n Brighten in Ethereal Rose.

Threading from Brow Bar at Great Mall in Milpitas

My friend got her brows threaded today at Brow Bar at Great Mall in Milpitas today!  Want to see some before and afters? :)

For privacy reasons, her identity will not be revealed =p

Nice results huh???  The service was super quick too (and very affordable at $10) !  It only took about 5 min, and she said it didn't hurt as much as waxing :)

This is what threading looks like:

And this is just Christina (from maqeup.com) and moi having fun =p

Sponsored FOTD: Stila and Pixi from beflurt.com

Beflurt.com (my favorite designer makeup discount site) sent me these awesome products and I decided to use all of them today :)  Thank you so much beflurt!!

First I used Stila eyeshadow in chinois all over the lid.  This is a matte neutral color, perfect for the base.

Next I used a light shimmery blue all over.  Here I used Aveda eyeshadow in perception.
Then I used a grey/brown shadow in the outer v, here I used Clinique High Impact Eye Shadow in Foxy.  You can tell I like this color a lot as I've hit the pan :)

Next I lined my eyes with Pixi eyeliner in No 4.  This is a light brown color, which I really like on the bottom, but it's not dark enough for my top lashline.

I wanted my top lashline to be defined more, so I smudged some black shadow over the liner.  Here I used Milani eyeshadow in 02 black out.

Next I used the same brush to smudge out the lower lashline, without adding any more colors.

I then highlighted my inner corners and tightlined using Benefit BADgal Liner.

For lips, I used Pixi Lip Booster in Trixie, it is a very pretty shiny nude color.

For cheeks I used my holy grail Laura Geller Blush n Brighten in Ethereal Rose.
