After 3 visits to Aesthetics & Essentials Dental Group since getting my x-rays, photos, and molds, Dr Habibi finally finalized my Invisalign treatment plan!!  The plan for the top is to shave off a bit of teeth to create space so that my midline can be shifted.  The numbers in the first movie denote the amount in millimeters to be shaved off.  The plan for the bottom teeth is more straightforward - classic crowding case.  Look how my teeth will be straightened and centered!  Estimated number of aligners: 22, which is about 11 months.  Not bad at all right?  Check out my teeth movies :)

Remember last week when I did my Face of the Day featuring Tarte Amazonian Clay & Mascara 4-pc Starter Kit with Brush from QVC I used  L'oreal Bare Naturale gentle lip conditioner in soft blush, which I bought at CVS at 75% off!  Well I loved it SO much I went back to CVS and bought all the other colors they had left: 405 soft peach, 705 soft mica, 505 soft mauve.

I've never been big on lip products, in fact, I should probably show you my tiny sad collection of lip products.  So it's very unlike me to actually want to purchase a lip product let alone go back to the store and buy all the other colors.  Yes the awesome discount of 75% had a lot to do with the repurchasing but I wouldn't repurchase if I didn't like it, a lot.  Actually I also bought another lip product at 75% off, but that one I didn't like at all so I won't be repurchasing it even at the awesome discount.

(see the post here)  And remember I actually purchased it during the Sephora Friends and Family sale?  Well, after one try (yes only one try), I decided that this is not what I thought it'd be and I returned it :(

[Beauty Basics] Tightlining

Tightling was not something that I knew how to do right away, it took me awhile to understand why people tightline.

You see in the above that even when you line your eyes very closely to the lashes, there are still gaps in between the lashes where you can see that the skin is showing through?  Well, to really define the eyes, we want to make sure that the lashline is completely defined, meaning the lashline is completely lined without showing any skin.  

So how do we tightline?

do I look more like my mom? or my dad?

I've always wondered, since beginning of time, well as far as I can remember that is, if I look more like my mom?  or my dad? 到底是像媽媽還是爸爸呢？ hmm.... I think more people would say my dad?
