Bliss Poetic Waxing Strips

The strips need to be warmed up in your hands first, and are double sided.  This means that every wax session you need to use both strips, unless you can somehow save one side?  Maybe the strips can be folded in half but I'm not sure how that'd affect the wax...  

Ok here we go, time to wax:

The strips are sized perfectly for the upper lip area.  At first I wasn't sure if my fuzz was long enough to be waxed, but turns out they were, and they all came off nicely :)

The strips can be reused, so I used the same strip for the other side as well.  These strips work very nicely, strips away everything!  Of course minor discomfort is normal for waxing, my skin stayed red for a few minutes afterwards.

Since I needed to find a way to use up both strips, I decided to try it on my brows.  This was tricky as the strips were designed for the lip area; I basically needed to be very careful here not to accidentally wax away my brows =p

Afterwards, simply wipe off the wax residue with azulene oil that is conveniently included in the kit.  The azulene oil also soothes the skin post waxing.

Yay no more fuzz =p

Overall, I am very happy with the Bliss Poetic Waxing strips.  I am now very tempted to try their body strips :)

The Youth As We Know It Moisture Lotion SPF 30

The Bliss astoundingly efficacious youth as we know it moisture cream just got better–now upgraded to with SPF 30! Instead of just adding in a dose of SPF to its original BFF, the bliss product pros mixed up a skin- saving dream cream with UVA/UVB sunscreen protection, and then added in the 10 age-battling benefits.

Summer is here and we all know we NEED daily sun protection, why not consider a sunscreen that not only protects you from the sun but also gives you proven anti-aging benefits?? :)  It's never too early to start your fight against aging, prevention is the KEY!  When I first opened the box, I immediately commented on how much I like its packaging.  It looks so much prettier than my other sunscreens; it comes with a pump for easy use and has a very pleasant scent, doesn't smell like chemicals at all.  In terms of its anti-aging benefits, unfortunately I can't tell you, but I do trust Oprah when she claimed Bliss to be her favorite spa ;)  I'm sure Bliss and Oprah both know what they are talking about.  In terms of its texture, I am not going to lie, it can be somewhat greasy if you use a generous amount; I personally don't mind it and I have combination skin.  Overall, I've been using this daily on my face, neck, and decollect areas :)
