I tried Michelle Phan's Rapunzel Makeup look this weekend, and I made up my own night time version for it as well :)

[Fancies] Ikea HEMNES dressing table!

Back in April I posted on my Facebook that I was setting up my vanity area with my beloved HEMNES Dressing table with mirror, it's been a few months and this is what it looks like now =p  Yup... it has grown.....  Anyway, I love everything about it, love the drawers, love the glass surface, love the look!  Be sure to check it out next time at Ikea :)

[Fancies] Zoya Professional Lacquer in Pandora

I received this Zoya nail polish in Pandora from my July Birchbox and I love it!  I've been wearing it daily :)  Zoya describes this color as a "rose-buff hybrid" but I think of it as a light neutral taro color - it's a fun neutral color and so pretty!  I love the finish on this as well - glossy and long lasting :)

[Fancies] Philosophies Purity Made Simple - mineral oil-free facial cleansing oil

Remember I wanted to try [Fantasies] Philosophy Purity Made Simple Mineral Oil-free Facial Cleansing Oil?  Well I finally got my hands on it and omigosh, I LOVE this!  There's no doubt in my mind that this is the BEST cleansing oil I've tried and I've tried a lot!  This definitely beats the cult-favorite Shu Uemura facial cleansing oils!  The texture is light, and super easy to wash off unlike many cleansing oils out there.  For those of you who are not familiar, with cleansing oils you need to apply the product on dry skin, massage a bit, and with a bit of water emulsify the oil and then rinse off.  Usually it takes awhile to emulsify and rinse, but with Philosophy Purity Made Simple Mineral Oil-free Facial Cleansing Oil it rinses right off :)  And the scent is the classic Purity Made Simple scent, which I LOVE~

Now, if Philosophy can just repackage this it'd be perfect =p  I am not a fan of the cap - it is hard to gauge how much product to squeeze out and the oil can leak, please give us a pump thankyouverymuch.

Here's how you use it:

The kit comes with 4 applicators.  You need to first twist off the cap, squeeze out the product from both chambers, and slowly mix the 2 together at which point you'll feel a slight warming sensation.


Afterwards apply the peel onto the face and decollete area.  Wait 10 min and wash off at which point you'll be amazed at how much brighter your skin is!  I am amazed every time - my skin tone and texture have significantly improved and am wearing less makeup these days :D  One thing to note is that this increases sensitivity to the sun so remember to use sun protection!!  I was told that you should only get glycolic peels in the winter but I think as long as you protect yourself from the sun via sunscreen and hats it's ok to use it in the summer as well.  Also, some might be worried about irritations since it is a glycolic peel, I personally didn't experience any irritations after 3 applications so I think this is perfectly safe to use.  In fact, I think EVERYONE should use it, I probably will get some for my mom and aunts :D
